Six Pints Beer Co. is a division of Molson Coors Canada that is aimed at entering the craft beer market. They have acquired a range of breweries within Canada such as Creemore Springs Brewery, Granville Island Brewing, and Trou du diable in order to expand their presence within the craft beer market.

Strategy

Six Pints Beer Co. partnered with 3 tier logic to launch their Creemore Springs PIN Code Sweepstakes. 3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a microsite for the promotion, leveraging the following modules:

  • Pin Code Generation and Validation

  • Data Capture & Analytics 

Customers that purchase any specially marked cases of Creemore Lager have a chance to enter the sweepstake to win various prizes. The grand prize included a weekend getaway experience in Creemore. The secondary prize included a special multi-course dining experience in Toronto. They can register an entry in the sweepstakes on the microsite with the 10 digit PIN code found inside of each Creemore Lager case. Winners would be contacted at the end of the promotion. The sweepstakes promotion ran regionally in Ontario, Canada. 

Through the Purchase Validation technology on PLATFORM³, customers can validate their purchase by registering and entering the unique PIN code to the microsite. Once their purchase has been validated, customers received an email with a confirmation of their entry. 

PLATFORM³ allows Six Pints Beer Co. to track the progress of their promotion in real-time and collect invaluable customer data. The Data Capture & Analytics module provides information on customers’ activity on the microsite during the promotion and their purchase information. Six Pints Beer Co. is able to take advantage of this data to build upon their customer acquisition strategy to drive more sales and purchases.
