Land O’ Frost: At-Home Gourmet & Play Giveaway

Land O’ Frost is a family-owned business and American producer of deli lunch meats like black forest ham, smoked turkey, and roast beef. They have three brands: Premium, Bistro Favorites, and DeliShaved. Land O’ Frost partnered with 3 tier logic to launch their national ‘At-Home Gourmet & Play Giveaway’ sweepstakes promotion, exclusive to Bistro Favorites products. This was the fourth program Land O’ Frost activated with 3 tier logic.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create a microsite for Land O’ Frost’s ‘At-Home Gourmet & Play Giveaway’ sweepstakes promotion, leveraging the following modules:

  • Contests and Promotions

  • Purchase Receipt Validation

  • Gift Cards & Rewards

  • Data Capture & Analytics

When consumers purchase one qualifying Land O’ Frost Bistro Favorites product from participating retailers, they are eligible to receive a sweepstakes entry for the chance to win 1 of 5 $500 e-Visa gift cards, 1 of 20 $100 e-Visa gift cards, 1 of 2,000 RedBox movie rental e-codes valued at $5.99, or 1 of 500 “Game of Things” board games.

Through the Purchase Receipt Validation technology on PLATFORM³, customers can validate their purchase by registering and uploading a picture of their receipt to the promotion microsite. Once their purchase has been validated, customers receive an email with a Land O’Frost coupon. They also receive an email if they were randomly selected to win one of the sweepstakes prizes; if they won a digital reward, they were sent a link and instructions on how to redeem it. 3 tier logic procured and fulfilled the 5 $500 e-Visa gift cards and RedBox e-codes, as well as the list of “Game of Things” board game winners.

PLATFORM³ allowed Land O’ Frost to track the promotion’s progress in real-time and collect valuable customer information. The Data Capture & Analytics module provides meaningful insights into consumers’ purchasing behavior and microsite activity throughout the duration of the promotion. Land O’ Frost is able to use this data to guide future business and marketing decisions to continue driving product purchasing and increasing brand engagement.
