Litehouse Foods: Family Night Text To Win

Litehouse Foods is an employee-owned American producer and distributor of salad dressings, dips, herbs, and cheeses. Some of their products include vinaigrettes, freeze-dried herbs, and caramel and fruit dips. Litehouse Foods partnered with 3 tier logic to launch their national ‘Family Night Text To Win Sweepstakes’ SMS promotion, exclusive to consumers in the United States. This was the first program Litehouse Foods activated with 3 tier logic.

Strategy

3 tier logic used PLATFORM³ to create an SMS project for Litehouse Foods’s ‘Family Night Text To Win Sweepstakes’ promotion, leveraging the following module:

  • SMS Shortcode Phone Number

When consumers send a promotion keyword to a shortcode (no purchase necessary), they are eligible to receive a sweepstakes entry for a chance to win $5,000. Consumers were to text the promotion keyword ‘FAMILY’ to the shortcode 47056 in order to receive an SMS message confirming their sweepstakes entry. They were limited to one sweepstakes entry per phone number per day. At the end of the promotion, Litehouse Foods generated a random draw to select the sweepstakes winners and fulfill the prizes.
