Jack Link’s Beef Jerky is an American snack company best known for its eponymous brand of beef jerky. They also offer different meats, such as pork and turkey, and various flavors and forms, ranging from teriyaki to spicy and sticks to bars. Jack Link’s partnered with 3 tier logic to launch their national ‘Wild Side Wisdom’ sweepstakes and contest promotion, exclusive to consumers in the United States.

When consumers submit a Jack Link’s packaging tagline on the promotion microsite (no purchase necessary), they are eligible to receive a sweepstakes entry for a chance to win 1 of 10 grand prizes of a year’s supply of Jack Link’s jerky or 1 of 5 sweepstakes prizes of a case of Jack Link’s jerky. Consumers could also share the promotion on their Facebook and/or Twitter accounts for one additional entry for the chance to win a sweepstakes prize. At the end of the promotion, 3 tier logic generated a random draw to select the sweepstakes winners, and Jack Link’s fulfilled the prizes.
With PLATFORM³, Jack Link’s was able to capture valuable real-time information about their consumers’ purchasing behavior. The Data Capture & Analytics module provides meaningful insights on users’ microsite activity over the duration of the promotion. Jack Link’s is able to use this data to make informed decisions for future promotions to continue driving engagement and customer loyalty.
